We are skilled in all areas of new bridge construction, sand blasting, congressive polymers, cast-in-place concrete, bridge jacking, timber work, structural steel, epoxy resin injection, grout pumping and shotcrete both above and below water.

We are capable of dismantling bridges of all sizes and varieties of material. We have the necessary knowledge and experience regarding environmental effects and the proper disposal of any and all debris.

 

Buildings

JMG has a comprehensive background in building construction. We have the resources and capabilities to provide design/build projects, construction of yard office and administration buildings, temporary and permanent storage facilities, warehousing facilities and customized structures to meet the needs of our clients.

 

 

 

JMG is proficient in all areas of concrete work including structural concrete, saw cutting, slab construction and repair, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and drainage swales, wing walls and drainage structures, epoxy injection and repairs.

 


 

 


 

JMG has been dismantling bridges, sand towers, piers and buildings since our inception. We are experienced in all types of structure removal including wooden and concrete buildings.

 

 

 

Our Electrical Division has the experience and capability to handle every aspect of your next project. From Substations and Power Distribution to New Building Construction including Fire Alarm, CCTV, Security and Nurse Call Systems, JMG has the expertise to complete the task.

We also handle Site Construction, Critical Power (Generators, UPS Systems and Battery Rooms), High Voltage Wiring and Terminations, Pole Line Work and Construction and complete Tele/Data (Fiber and Copper) Installations.

 

 


JMG capably handles all aspects of excavation including:

  • Trench excavation for utilities
  • Cut & fill operations
  • Building & site excavation including but not limited to foundations, footings, slabs, curbs and sidewalks
  • Utility pit excavation of various sizes & depths
  • Excavation requiring around the clock dewatering
  • Sheeting, shoring, bracing, and associated hand work
  • Water retainage basins and drainage systems



 

JMG is paving thousands of Railroad crossings throughout the Eastern United States. We also handle parking facility renovations including demolition, excavation, utility work, pipe work, landscaping, meters, lighting and fencing.

 

 

 

 

JMG's Pier and Piling Division constructs fender systems and rehabilitates abutments and piers.


 

 

 

 

 

We stand ready to provide all types of pipe work including water mains, sanitary and sewer lines, storm lines, force mains and electrical duct banks.

 

 

 

 

 

JMG has serviced the railroad industry since 1980. We've worked in conjunction with Class A railroads, short line railroads and transit systems and have grown to become a full service contractor able to accomodate a multitude of services required by this industry. Requirements, in part, include:

  • Pre-fabricated concrete and asphalt railroad crossing rehabs
  • Renovations and new construction of facilities
  • Maintenance and construction of terminal and parking facilites
  • Erection of new bridges
  • Rehab of old bridges including timber, steel and concrete
  • Clearance projects involving large scale grading, ballast installation and the associated track work.
  • Demolition of bridges, buildings and towers
  • Security systems
